St.- Petersburg Tram-Mechanical Factory (TMF) is one of the main manufacturer of the tramway carriages in Russia and CIS countries. Tramway carriages made by TMF are successfully exploited in 24 cities of Russia.

In the letter N1525 dated August 18, 2009 TMF reported us about introduction of the МС1400 NORD grease on the modern high-speed tramway carriage of the railroad line transport, release 2010, applying systems of the grease automatic supply LINCOLN.

It will let to increase the maintenance warranty period and to improve technical characteristics of the tramways.
In details it will let to increase durability term of the friction units and to decrease quantity of the transport technical check-ups.

Interesting facts:
In the carriages released in 2010, the passengers will have possibility to make landing and drop-off from both sides of the tramway, subject to the disposition of the landing platform.
Wide door openings from the both sides of the carriage will let to increase speed of the landing-drop-off and to improve the comfort conditions for the passengers with children’s carriages, disabled persons and retired employees.

With help of the digital video communication system the driver can control situation inside the passenger compartment and on the carriageway.
